Hamilton and Hennessy is committed to the education of future attorneys in the hopes they will someday join our fight against injustice. Our externs often receive class credit for their assistance with all aspects of our small Civil Rights and Criminal Defense practice. Student-externs usually have the chance to observe and participate in client and witness interviews, case investigations, depositions, trials, motion practice, jail visits, scene visits, and settlement conferences.

Our externs have the opportunity to assist with all aspects of the discovery process and will also be expected to conduct legal research and draft legal memorandum.
